Hover Euro is an analog synthesizer beam controller. Vertical hand movements measured with an infrared beam are converted into CV and gate signals. Hover Euro is designed to be played. It can be used to add expression to modulation creation with the ease and control of a hand movement, and it features a unique set of modes to modify the output. A looper function allows LFO-type signals to be created with hand movements, leaving Hover Euro to continue to modulate in the performance while being synchronised to the music.
The main button can be used to freeze the output in various ways, including allowing Hover Euro to be used like a standard fader or knob: modulate the output with hand movements, when done freeze the output by pressing the button. Hover Euro has a looper function, allowing you to record hand movements, loop them and play them back at different speeds. The CV output can be scaled between 0V and 10V. The 5V gate output can be triggered by a set hand position threshold. The gate can also be set as an input to trigger the button function or restart the loop from an external trigger source, such as a sequencer.
