Waves&Drops is a clone of the classic Mutable Instruments Ripples filter built with the same high quality parts found in the original.
The module offers 3 filter modes; 2 pole bandpass, 2 pole lowpass and 4 pole lowpass and a resonance control making self oscillation possible in all modes.
One advantage of the design over other 4 pole LP filters is that there is no drop in audio levels when resonance is increased.
There are CV controls over Resonance, Cut off and an internal VCA over the LP4 output! There is also a second CV input for cutoff control with an attenuverter.
All filters have their own character, Drops&Waves has been described as liquid like and reminiscent of the Roland Jupiter filters.
