Product Info

Your new favorite source of noise! The Doepfer A-117-2 is a small, digital and voltage-controlled noise generator. A-117-2 generates random, digital pulses that produce clicks at low frequencies and noise at high frequencies. The slow frequencies are therefore ideal for triggering random events. The high frequencies produce great hihats or modulation sources.

The module has a knob to control the frequency, which can also be voltage controlled. Furthermore, there is a clock input which, when used, switches off the internal oscillator for frequency control and replaces it with the new signal.

The two outputs are one bipolar and one unipolar version of your signal and are therefore suitable for different applications.

Very simple, but very useful!

Features:

  • Digital noise from 50Hz to 40kHz
  • CV control via frequency
  • XClk input for external clock signals
  • Outputs with unipolar and bipolar version
