íre is both a high-quality transformer input preamp for microphones, equipped with essentials such as phantom power and -20dB pad, as well as a tube-like FET preamp for the instrument/line channel inputs. Individual gain and level controls and a 80Hz high-pass filter ensure pristine or characterful gain staging for any source.
Additionally, with its built-in envelope follower and comparator, íre transforms incoming audio into dynamic control signals, unlocking interesting ways to interact with your modular system.
