Featuring a black recycled ABS PlayCase, custom black flat keycaps and black chrome faders. The Cr24 is a sleek re-interpretation of the original Yellow PlayFader and shares the same innovative functionality. The green LEDs of the main display finish off the design in style while being super-clear in the darkest and most demanding of situations. The Cr24 is currently a very limited run. All the PlayFader button colours from the original are now represented on the front panel, allowing you to use colour to learn your way around the functions.
PlayFader is a powerful and unique music and modulation sequencer. Each channel of PlayFader has CV and Gate outputs controlled by a Fader and Play button. Move the Fader to adjust CV levels and press Play for gate or trigger output.
PlayFader also offers two MIDI channels, allowing you to choose from various output options like Notes or Chords. The MIDI outputs match the analog outputs, letting you control MIDI devices while using analog synths. Robust internal clock with sync out, transport controls and tap tempo, or lock to external clocks through CV or MIDI. You can choose from quantised and smooth CV – customisable user scales or voltage ranges of 2, 3, 5, or 8 volts Each channel has two recording buffers that can be switched and copied in real time. Plus you can play and record live transposition. PlayFader also includes 7 FUN FX modes which allow you to take your patterns to extreme new places and back again at the push of a button. The FUN button!
This gives PlayFader many of the qualities that make a great instrument – A simple and immediate user interface with deep and flexible functionality that endlessly rewards exploration and play with fun… and great music! Inside every PlayFader you get a handy laminated card with all the main menu button combos. This fits neatly into the lid so it’s always with you when you need it.

Please note, PlayFader does not ship with cables or adapters. For the same reason we didn’t put a battery inside, there are lots of cables and adapters already out there in people’s studios. We don’t want to needlessly add to the landfill. Cables to connect PlayFader are very common, see specs for details. You can power PlayFader from any 9v Centre-negative guitar pedal power supply.
PlayFader features a protective lid that serves as a stand and is comfortable to hold, called the PlayCase. While traveling, the controls are protected by the lid, secured with a wristband that supports LGBTQ+ equality. The lid can flip onto the back for added grip and height, making it ideal for extended play.
